  1. The Confederation may subsidise national or regional measures introduced by producers, processors or traders that are aimed at promoting the sale of Swiss agricultural products within the country and abroad.1
  2. For this purpose it may also support efforts to increase awareness of public services provided by the agricultural sector.2
  3. It may also coordinate subsidised measures within Switzerland and abroad, for example by devising a common identity.3
  4. The Federal Council shall draw up the criteria for the allocation of subsidies.
