  1. The holder of an authorisation for a biocidal product family must declare to the Notification Authority each product within the biocidal product family at least 30 days before placing it on the market for the first time.
  2. The declaration must indicate the exact composition, the trade name, the authorisation number for the biocidal product family and if applicable a unique formula identifier (UFI) in accordance with Article 14a .1
  3. Declaration is not required if:
    1. a particular product is explicitly identified in the authorisation for the biocidal product family; or
    2. the variation in composition concerns only pigments, perfumes and dyes within the variations permitted according to the authorisation, unless the variation is associated with a change in the trade name.
