Commentaries: Art. 944

Immovable property which is not privately owned and is in public use will be recorded in the land register only if rights in rem attaching to such property are to be registered or if cantonal law provides for its registration.
If registered immovable property is transformed into property that is not subject to registration, it is deleted from the land register.
