¹Land charge certificates and mortgage certificates issued in series remain recorded in the land register.

²They remain governed by the provisions of the previous law.

³Cantonal law may provide for the conversion of land charge certificates created under federal law or earlier law into forms of lien under the current law. Conversion may also involve the introduction of personal liability for the owner of the mortgaged property for minor sums.
