  1. The Federal Council appoints a leading member of the Federal Chancellery as Federal Council spokesperson.
  2. The Federal Council spokesperson:
    1. provides information on behalf of the Federal Council to the general public;
    2. advises the Federal Council and its members on information and communication issues;
    3. coordinates the information activities of the Federal Council, the departments and the Federal Chancellery.
