Pennsylvania Act 1976-43 — SUBLEASE - COMMONWEALTH PROPERTY IN ARMSTRONG COUNTY

AN ACT

Authorizing the Department of General Services with the approval of the Governor and the Department of Public Welfare to sublease the Geriatrics Center, Armstrong County to the Armstrong County Health Center, Inc.

Compiler's Note: The Department of Public Welfare, referred to in this act, was redesignated as the Department of Human Services by Act 132 of 2014.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. The Department of General Services, with the approval of the Governor and the Department of Public Welfare, is hereby authorized and directed to sublease the Geriatrics Center, Armstrong County in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, to the Armstrong County Health Center, Inc., under such terms and conditions as shall be agreed upon.

Compiler's Note: The Department of Public Welfare, referred to in this section, was redesignated as the Department of Human Services by Act 132 of 2014.

Section 2. The sublease shall be prepared by the Department of Justice and executed by the Department of General Services with the approval of the Governor.

Section 3. During the term of said sublease or any renewal thereof, the Armstrong County Health Center, Inc., shall be subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the rules and regulations promulgated by any department, board or commission of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any agency governing private nonprofit institutions.

Section 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
