SUPPLEMENTARY ACT, PRISONS
                  Act of Apr. 17, 1878, P.L. 26, No. 31               Cl. 53
                               A SUPPLEMENT

     To an act, entitled "An act for the regulation and government of
        the Northampton county prison," approved the tenth day of
        May, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

        Section 5.  Farmers selling their own produce not liable to
     taxation for mercantile purposes
        Farmers selling their own produce, or occupying a stall or
     stalls, or sidewalk, or part thereof, in any of the markets of a
     city of the first class, shall not be subject to classification
     or taxation for mercantile purposes.  1878, April 18, P.L. 26,
