Subchapter 1 Applications for Employment With the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation

Okla. Admin. Code § 375:2-1-1 Purpose

The rules of this Chapter have been adopted for the purpose of complying with the relevant provisions of 75 O.S., Sections 250 et seq. (The Oklahoma Administrative Procedures Act). The rules contained in this chapter outline procedures for applying for employment with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Okla. Admin. Code § 375:2-1-2 Definitions

The following words or terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meaning, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

"Bureau" means the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

"Classified employee applicant" means a person applying for employment with the OSBI for a position within the OSBI that is under the jurisdiction of the Oklahoma Merit System of Personnel Administration

"Director" means the Director of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

"OSBI" means the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

"Unclassified employee applicant" means a person applying for employment with the OSBI for a position within the OSBI that is not under the jurisdiction of the Oklahoma Merit System of Personnel Administration

Okla. Admin. Code § 375:2-1-3 Pre-employment Application

(a) All persons desiring employment with the OSBI shall fully complete a Pre-employment Application and Applicant Instruction Sheet/Acknowledgement provided by the OSBI.

(b) The OSBI will not accept unsolicited applications or resumes. All such applications or resumes shall be returned promptly.
