Sec. 0.01. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Chicago Land Cession Act.

Sec. 2.

Jurisdiction of the State of Illinois over said lands is hereby ceded to the United States, subject, however, to the right of the state and any and all officers under its authority to serve and execute on said lands any civil or criminal process issued under the authority of the State of Illinois or any officer thereof, in the same manner as if jurisdiction had not been ceded to the United States.
