GENERAL PROVISIONS
§19-42-8 Shipments of explosives and other hazardous materials. Handling of
shipments of explosives and other hazardous materials as defined in Title 49,
Code of Federal Regulations, as it existed on June 1, 1993, shall be permitted only
after a full compliance by shipper, carrier, and terminal operator with all
applicable rules and regulations governing the packaging, marking, labeling,
handling, and transporting of these articles. (See also section 19-42-104.) Failure
to comply with the applicable regulations is a violation of section 19-42-15 and
violators shall be subject to the penalties provided in section 19-41-12. [Eff
