Preamble

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,

Having regard to the Treaty of Accession of Bulgaria and Romania, and in particular Article 4(3) thereof,

Having regard to the Act of Accession of Bulgaria and Romania, and in particular Article 56 thereof,

Whereas:

(1) Certain technical amendments are necessary in Commission Regulation (EC) No 2295/2003 ¹ , by reason of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union.

(2) Annexes I, II and V to Regulation (EC) No 2295/2003 contain certain entries in all the languages of the Community as constituted at 31 December 2006. Those Annexes should also include the entries in Bulgarian and in Romanian.

(3) Regulation (EC) No 2295/2003 should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

Regulation (EC) No 2295/2003 is amended as follows:

2. Annexes I, II and V are amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force subject to and on the date of the entry into force of the Treaty of Accession of Bulgaria and Romania.

Final provisions
