PEOPLE OF MI V JOHNATHON ABRAM-ROSS BARRETT
Docket No. 381191
LC No. 25-010106-FC

Judges
The application for leave to appeal is DENIED for lack of merit in the grounds presented.
Although we agree with defendant that the trial court erred when it assessed 10 points for Offense Variable
(OV) 4, defendant is not entitled to resentencing because reducing his total OV score by 10 points would
not change his recommended sentencing guidelines range. See People v Rhodes, 305 Mich App 85, 91;
849 NW2d 417 (2014) (“If a scoring error does not alter the guidelines range, resentencing is not
required.”).
