The “Motion for Transcript Fees” is DENIED without prejudice to appellant re-filing the
same in the trial court.
On the Court’s own motion pursuant to MCR 7.216(A)(7), this matter is REMANDED to
the trial court to reconsider its decision whether to appoint appellant as the lawyer guardian ad litem for
purposes of pursuing this appeal. On remand, the trial court shall allow appellant to supplement the record
with information regarding which child(ren) wish to pursue the appeal, and/or the issue(s) sought to be
raised on appeal.
The trial court shall enter a written order explaining its decision regarding appellant’s
request for appointment, as well as any other request made in connection with the request for appointment,
within 28 days of the Clerk’s certification of this order.
