ORDER
PEOPLE OF MI V ROLA SAMIR KOLAILAT
Docket No. 377285
LC No. 16-000798-FH
Michelle M. Rick
Presiding Judge

Kristina Robinson Garrett
Judges
The motion for immediate consideration is GRANTED.
Pursuant to MCR 7.205(E)(2), and in lieu of granted the application for leave to appeal,
the Court VACATES the September 3, 2025 order of the Washtenaw Circuit Court and REMANDS this
matter to the circuit court for reconsideration of defendant’s motion to set aside her aggravated stalking
conviction. The trial court erred as a matter of law when the court failed to address whether setting aside
of the conviction was consistent with the public welfare. People v Butka, 514 Mich 366, 378; 22 NW3d
429 (2024).
This order is to have immediate effect. MCR 7.215(F)(2). We do not retain jurisdiction.
