Judges
The motion for immediate consideration is GRANTED.
The motion for peremptory reversal pursuant to MCR 7.211(C)(4) is DENIED for failure
to persuade the Court of the existence of manifest error requiring reversal and warranting peremptory
relief without argument or formal submission.
The application for leave to appeal is DENIED for failure to persuade the Court of the need
for immediate appellate review on an interlocutory basis. See Bonner v Chicago Title Ins Co, 194 Mich
App 462, 472; 487 NW2d 807 (1992) (“Where a party has claimed an appeal from a final order, the party
is free to raise on appeal issues related to other orders in the case.”); McCarthy & Assoc, Inc v Washburn,
194 Mich App 676, 680; 488 NW2d 785 (1992) (observing that “piecemeal appeals” generally result in
“an unnecessary waste of judicial resources”).
