1 IN THE COURT OF APPEALS OF IOWA _______________ No. 25-1913 Filed October 21, 2026 _______________ In the Matter of D.E., Alleged to be Seriously Mentally Impaired, D.E., Respondent-Appellant. _______________ Appeal from the Iowa District Court for Woodbury County, The Honorable Patrick H. Tott, Judge. _______________ AFFIRMED _______________ Debra S. De Jong of De Jong Law Firm, P.C., Orange City, attorney for appellant. Brenna Bird, Attorney General, and Mackenzie Moran, Assistant Attorney General, attorneys for appellee State. _______________ Considered without oral argument by Greer, P.J., Buller, J., and Vogel, S.J. Opinion by Vogel, S.J.
2 VOGEL, Senior Judge. D.E. appeals from an involuntary-commitment order under Iowa Code chapter 229 (2025), wherein the district court found that D.E. “remains significantly mentally impaired and is in need of full-time custody, care and inpatient treatment in a hospital setting until such time as an appropriate long-term inpatient care facility can be obtained.” Based on the record before us, we conclude that the order of the district court is correct, and no error of law appears. Therefore, we affirm without opinion. See Iowa R. App. P. 6.1203. AFFIRMED.
