Vv.

PA YLOR JOSEPH GRUBBS (1)

United States District Court December 2, 2025
FOR THE NORTHERN DISTRICT OF TEXAS KAREN MITCHELL
Bailes DIVISION CLERK, U.S. DISTRICT

REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION CONCERNING PLEA OF GUILTY

TAYLOR JOSEPH GRUBBS by consent, under authority of United States v. Dees, 125 F.3d 261 (Sth Cir. 1997),
has appeared before me pursuant to FED. R. CRIM. P. 11, and has entered a plea of guilty to Count 1 of the Indictment filed
September 4, 2024. After cautioning and examining TAYLOR JOSEPH GRUBBS under oath concerning each of the
subjects mentioned in Rule 11, | determined that the guilty plea was knowledgeable and voluntary and that the offense
charged is supported by an independent basis in fact containing each of the essential elements of such offense. I therefore
recommend that the plea of guilty be accepted, and that TAYLOR JOSEPH GRUBBS be adjudged guilty of Possession
with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and (b)(1)(B)(vi), and have
sentence imposed accordingly.
