DECISION AND 	ORDER
HESSE, 	Chairperson: 	Following the issuance of the proposed
decision of 	a 	Public 	Employment 	Relations 	Board 	(Board)
administrative 	law judge, 	the ABC Unified School 	District 	filed
timely 	exceptions 	to the decision. 	The American Federation of
State, 	County and Municipal Employees, 	AFL-CIO, 	Local 2229 has
now requested 	that 	it 	be permitted 	to withdraw 	its 	underlying
unfair practice 	charge. 	The Board has 	considered the 	request 	and
concurs 	that 	such withdrawal 	is 	in the best 	interest of 	the
parties 	and 	is 	consistent with the 	Educational 	Employment
Relations Act.
It 	is 	hereby 	ORDERED 	that 	the proposed decision herein be
set aside, 	and the unfair practice charge in Case No. 	LA-CE-2860
is WITHDRAWN WITH PREJUDICE.
