Arrêté fédéral concernant l'initiative populaire «pour la suppression de la vivisection»
du 21 juin 1985
L'Assemblée fédérale de la Confédération suisse,
vu l'initiative populaire «pour la suppression de la vivisection»1), déposée le 17 septembre 1981;
vu le message du Conseil fédéral du 30 mai 19842),
arrête:
Article premier
' L'initiative populaire du 17 septembre 1981 «pour la suppression de la vivisection» est soumise au vote du peuple et des cantons.
2 L'initiative a la teneur suivante:
La constitution fédérale est complétée comme il suit:
Art. 25ter
La vivisection sur animaux vertébrés ainsi que toute expérience cruelle sur animaux sont interdites dans toute la Suisse.
Disposition transitoire
Jusqu'à l'adoption de dispositions pénales, l'article 123 du code pénal sera appliqué par analogie en cas de violation de l'article 25ter.
Art. 2
L'Assemblée fédérale recommande au peuple et aux cantons de rejeter l'initiative.
