The appellant challenged the State Council’s approval of a municipal zoning plan before the Territorial Planning Court. By letter of 6 April 1998, the appellant withdrew the appeal. The court held that the case had become moot, ordered the appeal struck from the roll, and decided that no court fees or expenses would be levied.
Withdrawal of appeal; mootness: where the appellant expressly withdraws the challenge, the proceeding becomes devoid of object and is struck from the docket. In such a situation, the court may order that no fees or costs be charged.
