The Ticino Court of Appeal, First Civil Chamber, noted that the parties had signed a settlement on 7/9 September 1998 resolving all succession disputes in Switzerland and abroad. After both counsel confirmed the agreement, the court struck the appeal from the roll, ordered the procedural costs to remain with the party who had advanced them, and compensated party costs. It also released the guarantee deposit previously ordered by the court in favor of the appellant and authorized withdrawal of the deposited passbook.
