dass die Beschwerdeführerin die am 26. April 2005 gegen den Entscheid des Kantonsgerichts Basel-Landschaft, Abteilung Sozialversicherungsrecht, vom 19. Januar 2005 erhobene Verwaltungsgerichtsbeschwerde mit Schreiben vom 27. Dezember 2006 zurückgezogen hat,
dass die Beschwerdeführerin der Gegenpartei eine Parteientschädigung zu bezahlen hat (vgl. AHI 1994 S. 181 f. Erw. 4a mit Hinweisen),
beschliesst das Bundesgericht:

Die Verwaltungsgerichtsbeschwerde wird als durch Rückzug erledigt vom Geschäftsverzeichnis abgeschrieben.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Die Beschwerdeführerin hat dem Beschwerdegegner für das Verfahren vor dem Eidgenössischen Versicherungsgericht eine Parteientschädigung in der Höhe von Fr. 1000.- zu bezahlen.
4.
Dieser Entscheid wird den Parteien, dem Kantonsgericht Basel-Landschaft, Abteilung Sozialversicherungsrecht, und dem Bundesamt für Gesundheit zugestellt.
