Nach Einsicht
in die Beschwerde vom 31. Mai 2010 (Poststempel) gegen den Nichteintretensentscheid des Verwaltungsgerichts des Kantons Bern vom 22. April 2010,

in Erwägung,
dass ein Rechtsmittel gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG unter anderem die Begehren und deren Begründung zu enthalten hat, wobei in der Begründung in gedrängter Form darzulegen ist, inwiefern der angefochtene Akt Recht verletzt,
dass eine diesen Anforderungen genügende Beschwerde innert der nach Art. 100 f. BGG gesetzlich vorgegebenen und daher gemäss Art. 47 Abs. 1 BGG nicht erstreckbaren Rechtsmittelfrist erhoben sein muss, damit darauf eingetreten werden kann,
dass die nach Art. 100 Abs. 1 BGG 30-tägige Rechtsmittelfrist gemäss Art. 44 - 48 BGG am 4. Juli 2010 abgelaufen ist,
dass innert dieser Frist der Beschwerdeführer mit der Eingabe von 31. Mai 2010 einzig kundtat, gegen den kantonalen Entscheid Beschwerde führen zu wollen, ohne indessen einen Antrag in der Sache selbst zu stellen, geschweige denn auch nur ansatzweise darzutun, inwiefern die Vorinstanz mit dem angefochtenen Entscheid gegen Recht verstossen haben könnte,
dass insbesondere Krankheit zwar ein unverschuldetes, zur Wiederherstellung führendes Hindernis sein kann, aber nur dann wenn die Erkrankung derart ist, dass die rechtsuchende Person oder ihre Vertretung durch sie davon abgehalten wird, selber innert Frist zu handeln oder doch eine Drittperson mit der Vornahme der Handlung zu beauftragen (Urteil 8C_767/2008 vom 12. Januar 2009, 2C_401/2007 vom 21. Januar 2008),
dass dergestalt ungeachtet der in Aussicht gestellten Nachreichung der Beschwerdebegründung auf das eingereichte Rechtsmittel im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Bern, Sozialversicherungsrechtliche Abteilung, und dem Staatssekretariat für Wirtschaft schriftlich mitgeteilt.
