Erwägungen:
Die am 28. Oktober 2010 eingereichte Beschwerde wurde mit Schreiben vom 21. Januar 2011 zurückgezogen. Der Rückzug erfolgte erst, als das Verfahren vor Bundesgericht bereits kurz vor seinem Abschluss stand. Deshalb ist eine reduzierte Gerichtsgebühr zu erheben.
Demnach verfügt der Instruktionsrichter:
1.
Die Beschwerde in Strafsachen wird als gegenstandslos geworden vom Geschäftsverzeichnis abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 600.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zug, Justizkommission, Strafrechtliche Kammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
