que, par arrêt du 19 mai 2009, la 2ème Chambre civile de la Cour d'appel du canton de Berne a rejeté la demande de mainlevée de la tutelle présentée par X.________;
que l'intéressé interjette un recours en matière civile au Tribunal fédéral contre cette décision, concluant derechef à la mainlevée de la tutelle;
que le recours ne comporte pas la moindre critique des motifs de la juridiction précédente, de sorte que l'argumentation est manifestement insuffisante au regard des exigences légales de motivation (art. 42 al. 2 et 106 al. 2 LTF; ATF 133 IV 286 consid. 1.4 p. 287);
que le recourant se borne, en effet, à dire qu'il n'est "pas d'accord", parce qu'il est marié et n'a pas besoin d'une personne pour gérer ses affaires personnelles;
que, manifestement irrecevable, le présent recours doit être traité selon la procédure simplifiée prévue à l'art. 108 al. 1 let. b LTF;
que, compte tenu des circonstances de l'espèce, il y a lieu de statuer sans frais (cf. art. 66 al. 2, 2e phrase, LTF);
par ces motifs, la Juge présidant prononce:

Le recours est irrecevable.

Il n'est pas perçu de frais judiciaires.

Le présent arrêt est communiqué aux parties et à la 2ème Chambre civile de la Cour d'appel du canton de Berne.
