Summary

The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the civil appeal because the appellant failed to pay the required cost advance even after the grace period set by the court expired. The appeal was therefore declared inadmissible in summary proceedings. Court costs of CHF 500 were charged to the appellant. The decision was communicated to the parties and to the Zurich Cantonal Court, II Civil Chamber.

Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG, Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG; non-payment of the cost advance within the prescribed time limit. If the appellant fails to pay the court-ordered advance, even after the grace period, the Federal Supreme Court shall not enter into the appeal in summary proceedings. The consequence follows ex officio and requires no substantive examination of the appeal. Court costs are to be imposed on the appellant under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

dass die Gerichtskosten dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);

erkennt die Präsidentin:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, II. Zivilkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
