In Erwägung,
dass das Kreisgericht St. Gallen mit Entscheid vom 30. April 2012 die Vollstreckung von Ziff. 1 des Entscheides des Einzelrichters am Kreisgericht St. Gallen vom 2. September 2011 (SZ.2011.80-SG2ZE-KUI) anordnete, dem Gesuchsgegner (= Beschwerdeführer) für den freiwilligen Vollzug seiner Herausgabepflicht eine Frist von 5 Tagen seit Zustellung des Entscheides ansetzte und diesem für den Fall der Nichterfüllung eine Ordnungsbusse von Fr. 50.-- für jeden Tag androhte;
dass der Beschwerdeführer diesen Entscheid beim Kantonsgericht St. Gallen anfocht, das am 22. Mai 2012 auf dessen Beschwerde nicht eintrat, weil die Beschwerdeschrift die gesetzlichen Anforderungen an die Begründung einer Beschwerde nicht erfüllte;
dass der Beschwerdeführer dem Bundesgericht eine vom 16. Juni 2012 datierte Eingabe einreichte, in der er erklärte, den Entscheid des Kantonsgerichts vom 22. Mai 2012 mit Beschwerde anzufechten;
dass von vornherein nicht auf die Beschwerde einzutreten ist, soweit in der Rechtsschrift vom 16. Juni 2012 der Entscheid des Kreisgerichts St. Gallen vom 30. April 2012 kritisiert wird, da es sich dabei nicht um einen kantonal letztinstanzlichen Entscheid im Sinne von Art. 75 Abs. 1 BGG handelt;
dass in einer Beschwerde an das Bundesgericht unter Bezugnahme auf die Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheides dargelegt werden muss, welche Rechte der beschwerdeführenden Partei durch das kantonale Gericht verletzt worden sind (Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG), wobei eine allfällige Verletzung der bundesrechtlichen Verfassungsrechte vom Bundesgericht nicht von Amtes wegen geprüft wird, sondern nur dann, wenn solche Rügen in der Beschwerdeschrift ausdrücklich erhoben und begründet werden (Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG);
dass die Beschwerdebegründung in der Beschwerdeschrift selbst enthalten sein muss (BGE 133 II 396 E. 3.1 S. 400; 131 III 384 E. 2.3), weshalb die Verweise in der Rechtsschrift vom 16. Juni 2012 auf andere Schriftstücke, die "integrierende Bestandteile" der Beschwerde sein sollen, unbeachtlich sind;
dass in der Beschwerdeschrift im Übrigen mit keinem Wort zur Begründung Stellung genommen wird, mit welcher im angefochtenen Entscheid auf die Beschwerde nicht eingetreten wurde;
dass aus diesen Gründen auf die Beschwerde im Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a und b BGG nicht einzutreten ist;
dass die Gerichtskosten dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);
erkennt die Präsidentin:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht St. Gallen, Einzelrichterin im Obligationenrecht, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
