Le Président, considérant:
Que, par décision du 3 avril 2007, la Commission cantonale de recours de police des étrangers du canton de Genève a déclaré irrecevable, pour défaut de paiement de l'avance de frais dans le délai imparti à cet effet, le recours interjeté par X.________ contre la décision de l'Office cantonal de la population du canton de Genève du 17 janvier 2007 refusant de renouveler son autorisation de séjour,
que X.________ a formé un recours, traité comme recours de droit constitutionnel subsidiaire, auprès du Tribunal fédéral contre la décision du 3 avril 2007,
que, dans son écriture, le recourant se borne à déclarer que le Tribunal fédéral constitue sa prochaine étape pour obtenir le renouvellement de son autorisation de séjour pour études,
que la motivation du recours apparaît ainsi comme étant manifestement insuffisante (art. 42 al. 1 et al. 2 LTF en rapport avec l'art. 108 al. 1 let. b LTF),
que le recours étant irrecevable, il doit être traité selon la procédure simplifiée prévue à l'art. 108 LTF, sans qu'il y ait lieu de procéder à un échange d'écritures,
que, succombant, le recourant doit supporter un émolument judiciaire (art. 66 al. 1 1ère phrase et art. 65 LTF).
Par ces motifs, vu l'art. 108 LTF, le Président prononce:

Le recours est irrecevable.
2.
Un émolument judiciaire de 200 fr. est mis à la charge du recourant.
3.
Le présent arrêt est communiqué en copie au recourant, à l'Office cantonal de la population et à la Commission cantonale de recours de police des étrangers du canton de Genève.
