Das Bundesgericht hat in Erwägung,
dass X.________ mit Eingabe vom 14. Dezember 2006 "Nichtigkeitsbeschwerde gegen einen Zirkular-Erledigungsbeschluss" des Kassationsgerichts des Kantons Zürich vom 8. November 2006 erhoben hat;
dass es sich der Sache nach um eine staatsrechtliche Beschwerde handelt;
dass er seiner Beschwerde den angefochtenen Entscheid nicht beigelegt hat, weshalb ihn das Bundesgericht mit Schreiben vom 27. Dezember 2006 aufgefordert hat, bis am 12. Januar 2007 den angefochtenen Entscheid einzureichen, ansonsten gemäss Art. 90 Abs. 2 OG auf seine Beschwerde nicht eingetreten werde;
dass X.________ innert Frist den angefochtenen Entscheid nicht eingereicht und sich auch sonst wie nicht hat vernehmen lassen;
dass somit gemäss Art. 90 Abs. 2 OG auf Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist;
dass dem Ausgang des Verfahrens entsprechend die bundesgerichtlichen Kosten dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 156 Abs. 1 OG);
im Verfahren nach Art. 36a OG erkannt:

Auf die staatsrechtliche Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 500.-- wird dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird dem Beschwerdeführer und dem Kassationsgericht des Kantons Zürich schriftlich mitgeteilt.
