Es wird in Erwägung,
dass die X.________ AG und die Y.________ AG ihre staatsrechtliche Beschwerde, die sie gegen den am 12. Juli 2006 betreffend Baubewilligung ergangenen Entscheid der 1. Kammer der 1. Abteilung des Verwaltungsgerichts des Kantons Zürich mit Eingabe vom 14. September 2006 einreichten, mit Schreiben vom 23. August 2007 zurückgezogen haben;
dass die Kosten des bundesgerichtlichen Verfahrens den Beschwerdeführerinnen aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 156 OG);
dass die Beschwerdeführerinnen sodann den den privaten Beschwerdegegnern im vorliegenden Verfahren bereits entstandenen Anwaltsaufwand unter solidarischer Haftbarkeit zu ersetzen haben (Art. 159 OG), wobei der von ihrer Rechtsvertreterin gemäss Eingabe vom 24. August 2007 in Rechnung gestellte Betrag unter den gegebenen Umständen als angemessen erscheint;
verfügt:

Das Verfahren 1P.592/2006 wird als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 1'000.-- werden den Beschwerdeführerinnen auferlegt.
3.
Die Beschwerdeführerinnen haben den Beschwerdegegnern unter solidarischer Haftbarkeit eine Parteientschädigung von Fr. 6'516.70 (inkl. 7,6 % MWSt) zu bezahlen.
4.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien, der Baurekurskommission II und dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Zürich, 1. Abteilung, 1. Kammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
