(Art. 51 CISA)

  1. The board of directors has the following tasks:
    1. 1 performing the duties required under Article 716a CO2;
    2. determining the principles of the investment policy;
    3. 3 appointing the custodian bank or an institution in accordance with Article 44a paragraph 2 CISA;
    4. creating new subfunds, where provided by the articles of association;
    5. 4 drawing up the prospectus and the key information document;
    6. administration.
  2. The tasks laid down in paragraph 1a–c may not be delegated.
  3. In a self-managed SICAV, the tasks defined in paragraph 1 letters d and e, in addition to the administrative sub-tasks defined in paragraph 1 letter f, specifically risk management, the structuring of the internal control system (ICS) and compliance, may only be delegated to the executive board.
  4. In relation to the organisational structure of a self-managed SICAV, Article 51 paragraph 1, Article 52 paragraph 1 and Article 53 FinIO5apply accordingly.6
