Within the scope of this Act, the Federal Council may conclude international agreements on the recognition of foreign professional titles that entitle the holder to practise as a lawyer.
In doing so, it shall ensure in particular that:
lawyers are subject to the professional rules set out in Article 25; and
entry in the cantonal lawyers’ roll is governed by the principles applicable to lawyers from EU or EFTA member states.
It may issue implementing provisions for these agreements.
