The FOAG operates a geographical information system as support for the executive tasks assigned to the federal and cantonal authorities under the terms of this Act.
The information system contains data on land and land-use as well as further data for regional executive tasks.
Access and use of the data are covered by the provisions of the Federal Act of 5 October 20071on Geographical Information.
