The cantonal authorities shall ensure that storage facilities for farm manure and liquid digestate are regularly inspected; the frequency of the inspections shall correspond to the risk of pollution to the waters.1
The following shall be inspected:
whether the prescribed storage capacity is available;
whether the storage facilities (including pipes) leak;
whether facilities are in working order;
whether the facilities are operated in accordance with the regulations.
