Provided the requirements of Article 44 RTVA are met, if requested by the broadcasters, existing licences with performance mandates (Art. 38 and 43 RTVA) shall be extended to 31 December 2024.
DETEC may amend an existing licence without compensation as per the date that the original licence would have expired or refuse to extend the licence if this is necessary due to a change in the factual or legal circumstances.
