(Art. 45 VPETA)

Instructors for branch courses and similar third-party training courses, trade schools and other recognised institutions providing workplace training must have:

1. a tertiary-level professional qualification or equivalent qualification in the field in which they will be training others;
2. two years of practical experience in the field in which they will be training others;
3. completed vocational pedagogy training covering a total of:

1. 600 learning hours for full-time workplace trainers,

2. 300 learning hours for part-time workplace trainers.
