The provisions governing general partnerships also apply to the dissolution and liquidation of limited partnerships and to the prescriptive periods applicable to claims against the partners.
Where a limited partner is declared bankrupt or his share in the proceeds of liquidation is attached, the provisions governing partners in general partnerships applymutatis mutandis . However, the partnership is not dissolved by the death of a limited partner or his being made subject to a general deputyship.¹
