The contract does not become binding on the mandator until 14 days after he receives a duplicate signed by both parties. The mandatee must not accept any payment from the mandator before the 14-day period has expired.
During the period under paragraph 1, the mandator may give written notice of the revocation of his offer to enter into the contract or of his acceptance of the offer. Any advance waiver of this right is invalid. In addition, the provisions on the consequences of revocation (Art. 40f ) applymutatis mutandis .
Notice of termination must be done in writing.
