A cheque contains:

  1. the designation ‘cheque’ in the text of the instrument and in the language in which it is issued;
  2. the unconditional instruction to pay a certain sum of money;
  3. the name of the person who is to pay (drawee);
  4. the place of payment;
  5. the date and the place of issue;
  6. the drawer’s signature.
