Any party liable on a bill against whom a recourse claim is or may be made is entitled to insist that the bill of exchange together with the protest and a receipted invoice be handed over to him against payment of the recourse amount.
Any endorser who has honoured the bill may delete his endorsement and those of the subsequent endorsers.
