The holder of a bill of exchange payable on a specific date or a specified time after it was drawn or after sight must present the bill for payment on the payment date or one of the two subsequent working days.
Delivery of the bill to a clearing house recognised by the Swiss National Bank is equivalent to presentation for payment.1
