The bill guarantor is liable in the same manner as the person for whom he has given the guarantee.
His commitment is valid even if the guaranteed obligation is void for any reason other than formal defect.
A bill guarantor who pays the bill of exchange acquires all rights thereunder against the person for whom he has given the guarantee and against all those who are liable to such person under the bill.
