The acceptance must be unconditional; however, the drawee may limit it to a portion of the bill amount.
Where the declaration of acceptance contains any terms that deviate from the provisions of the bill of exchange, acceptance is deemed to have been refused. However, the acceptor is liable according to the terms of his declaration of acceptance.
