Parliamentary groups are composed of the assembly members who belong to the same party.
Members who do not belong to a party or who belong to more than one party may, provided they share similar political views, form their own parliamentary groups.
A parliamentary group must consist of a minimum of five members from one of the two councils.
Each parliamentary group must notify the General Secretary of the Federal Assembly of its formation, its members, its chairperson and its secretary.
