PROJECT 70 LAND ACQUISITION AND BORROWING ACT

                                  AN ACT

     Authorizing the release of Project 70 restrictions imposed on
        certain lands owned by the Adams-Croyle Recreation Authority
        and required for improvements to Croyle Township Road 352,
        Cambria County, in return for the imposition of Project 70
        restrictions on certain lands being conveyed to the Adams-
        Croyle Recreation Authority; and authorizing the release of
        Project 70 and Project 500 restrictions on certain lands
        owned by the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, in return
        for the imposition of Project 70 and Project 500 restrictions
        on certain lands to be conveyed to the City of Pittsburgh.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

        Section 1.  The lands described in section 2 are hereby
     released from restrictions imposed under the provisions of the
     act of June 22, 1964 (Sp.Sess., P.L.131, No.8), known as the
     Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act, in exchange for
     the imposition of restrictions under the Project 70 Land
     Acquisition and Borrowing Act on the lands described in section
     3.
        Section 2.  The lands authorized to be released from
     restrictions are more particularly described as follows:
                                AREA NO. 1
        Beginning at a point on the westerly right-of-way line of
     Township Road No. 352 and the northerly right-of-way line of the
     Consolidated Rail Corporation approximately 500 feet north of
     the intersection of State Route 869 and Township Road No. 352;
     thence by the right-of-way line of the Consolidated Rail
     Corporation by a curve with a radius to the right of 1,402.69
     feet an arc distance of 2.04 feet, having a chord distance of
     2.04 feet at a bearing of north 77 degrees 58 minutes 12 seconds
     west to a point; thence through the lands of which this is a
     part by a curve to the left with a radius of 2,794.97 feet an
     arc distance of 177.22 feet, having a chord distance of 177.19
     feet at a bearing of north 32 degrees 32 minutes 13 seconds west
     to a point; thence through the same by a curve to the left with
     a radius of 5,231.35 feet an arc distance of 225.93 feet, having
     a chord distance of 225.91 feet at a bearing of north 35 degrees
     35 minutes 26 seconds west to a point; thence through the same
     north 36 degrees 49 minutes 40 seconds west a distance of 186.59
     feet to a point; thence through the same by a curve to the right
     with a radius of 11,477 feet an arc distance of 107.87 feet,
     having a chord distance of 107.87 feet at a bearing of north 36
     degrees 33 minutes 31 seconds west to a point; thence through
     the same north 36 degrees 17 minutes 22 seconds west a distance

     the intersection of State Route 869 and Township Road No. 352;

     29 degrees 12 minutes 51 seconds west a distance of 60.30 feet

        Beginning at a point on the westerly right-of-way line of
     Township Road No. 352 approximately 4,263 feet north of the
     intersection of State Route 869 and Township Road No. 352;
     thence through the lands of which this is a part by a curve to
     the right with a radius of 973 feet an arc distance of 216.73
     feet, having a chord distance of 216.28 feet at a bearing of
     north 41 degrees 56 minutes 57 seconds west to a point; thence
     through the same north 35 degrees 34 minutes 4 seconds west a
     distance of 104.03 feet to a point; thence through the same

     along said right-of-way line north 17 degrees 20 minutes 53
     seconds west a distance of 192 feet to a point; thence along the
     same by a curve to the left with a radius of 515 feet an arc
     distance of 33.61 feet, having a chord distance of 33.60 feet at
     a bearing of north 19 degrees 13 minutes 3 seconds west to a
     point; thence along the same north 21 degrees 5 minutes 14
     seconds west a distance of 229.97 feet to a point; thence along

        Section 3.  The lands to be subject to restrictions are more
     particularly described as follows:
                               AREA NO. A1
        Beginning at a point on the easterly right-of-way line of
     Township Road No. 352 and the northerly right-of-way line of
     State Route 869; thence along said right-of-way line of Township
     Road No. 352 north 8 degrees 55 minutes 30 seconds west a
     distance of 79.99 feet to a point on the southerly right-of-way
     line of the Consolidated Rail Corporation; thence by said right-
     of-way line by a curve to the left with a radius of 1,713 feet
     an arc distance of 404.72 feet, having a chord distance of
     403.78 feet at a bearing of north 88 degrees 1 minute 23 seconds
     east to a point on the northerly right-of-way line of State
     Route 869; thence by said right-of-way line south 76 degrees 37
     minutes 58 seconds west a distance of 402.03 feet to the place
     of beginning.
        Containing .2942 acres.
                               AREA NO. A2
        Beginning at a point on the westerly right-of-way line of
     Township Road No. 352 and the northerly right-of-way line of
     State Route 869; thence along said right-of-way line of State
     Route 869 south 76 degrees 37 minutes 58 seconds west a distance
     of 394 feet to a point; thence through the lands of which this
     is a part north 35 degrees 31 minutes 24 seconds west a distance
     of 206.91 feet to a point at the southerly stream edge of the
     Little Conemaugh River; thence along said stream edge north 81
     degrees 33 minutes 18 seconds east a distance of 69.71 feet to a
     point; thence along the same south 87 degrees 27 seconds east a
     distance of 246 feet to a point; thence along the same north 89
     degrees 20 minutes 20 seconds east a distance of 176.88 feet to
     a point on the westerly right-of-way line of Township Road No.
     352; thence by said right-of-way line south 8 degrees 55 minutes
     29 seconds east a distance of 77.69 feet to the place of
     beginning.
        Containing 1.3259 acres.
        Section 4.  The restrictions to be included in the deed to
     the lands described in section 3 shall read as follows:
            This indenture is given to provide land for recreation,
            conservation and historical purposes as defined in the
            act of June 22, 1964 (Sp.Sess., P.L.131, No.8), known as
            the Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act.
        Section 5.  (a)  The lands described in subsection (b) are
     hereby released from restrictions imposed under provisions of
     the act of June 22, 1964 (Sp.Sess., P.L.131, No.8), known as the
     Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act, and the act of
     January 19, 1968 (1967 P.L.996, No.443), known as The Land and
     Water Conservation and Reclamation Act, in exchange for the
     imposition of restrictions under the Project 70 Land Acquisition
     and Borrowing Act and the Land and Water Conservation and
     Reclamation Act on the land to be conveyed to the City of
     Pittsburgh described in subsection (c).
        (b)  The parcel of land authorized to be released from
     restrictions is more particularly described as follows:
        All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the 20th
     Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny and
     Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being part of Lots Nos. 149 and
     150 in the Robert Robb Plan of Lots, recorded in the City
     Engineers Office in Plan Book 4, Page 236, bounded and described
     as follows:
        Beginning on the southerly side of Corfu Street and the
     corner of Lots Nos. 148 and 149 of above-mentioned plan; thence
     extending southwestwardly along the lot line between lots 148
     and 149 a distance of 131 feet to a point; thence parallel with
     Corfu Street across lots 149 and 150 northwesterly to a point on
     the lot line between lots 150 and 151 a distance of 48 feet;
     thence northwesterly a distance of 131 feet to a point on the
     southerly side of Corfu Street; thence along said Corfu Street
     southeasterly a distance of 48 feet to the place of beginning.
        Containing approximately 6,288 square feet.
        Being designated as part of Block 7-N, Lot No. 241, in the
     Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
        (c)  The parcels of land to be subject to restrictions are
     more particularly described as follows:
                                Parcel One
        All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the 20th
     Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny and
     Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being part of Lot No. 151 in
     Robert Robb Plan of Lots, recorded in the City Engineers Office
     in Plan Book 4, Page 236, bounded and described as follows:
        Beginning at a point on the dividing line between Lots Nos.
     150 and 151 in above-mentioned plan a distance of 131 feet
     southwest of Corfu Street at the true place of beginning; thence
     continuing along said dividing line a distance of 219 feet more
     or less to a point on the rear lot line of Lot No. 151, thence
     northwesterly along said lot line a distance of 24 feet more or
     less to the dividing line between Lots Nos. 151 and 152 in said
     plan; thence northeasterly along said lot line a distance of 229
     feet more or less to a point 131 feet from Corfu Street; thence
     parallel with Corfu Street southeasterly a distance of 24 feet
     to a point on the dividing line of Lots Nos. 150 and 151 at the
     true place of beginning.
        Containing approximately 5,376 square feet.
        Being designated as part of Block 7-J, Lot No. 24, in the
     Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County.
                                Parcel Two
        All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the 20th
     Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny and
     Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being Lot No. 172 in the Robert
     Robb Plan of Lots, recorded in the City Engineers Office in Plan
     Book 4, Page 236, bounded and described as follows:
        Beginning on the northerly side of Corfu Street on the
     dividing line between Lots Nos. 171 and 172 in above-mentioned
     plan; thence along said Corfu Street a distance of 24 feet to a
     point on the dividing line between Lots Nos. 172 and 173; thence
     northeasterly along said dividing line a distance of 40 feet
     more or less to a point; thence southeasterly along rear lot
     line a distance of 24 feet more or less to a point on the
     dividing line between Lots Nos. 171 and 172; thence
     southwesterly along said dividing line a distance of 40 feet
     more or less to a point on Corfu Street at the place of
     beginning.
        Containing approximately 960 square feet.
        Being designated as part of Block 7-J, Lot No. 15, in the
     Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
        (d)  The restriction to be included in the deed to the
     parcels described in subsection (c) shall read as follows:
            This indenture is given to provide land for recreation,
        Conservation and historical purposes as defined in the
        Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act and the Land
        and Water Conservation and Reclamation Act.
        Section 6.  This act shall take effect immediately.
