AUDITORS - COMPENSATION AND MILEAGE IN COUNTIES OF THE SIXTH, SEVENTH AND
                              EIGHTH CLASSES

                                  AN ACT

     Fixing the compensation and mileage of county auditors in
        counties of the sixth, seventh and eighth classes.

        Compiler's Note:  Section 2 of Act 739 of 1959 provided that
            Act 64 is repealed insofar as it applies to counties of
            the eighth class.
        Compiler's Note:  Section 2 of Act 668 of 1959 provided that
            Act 64 is repealed insofar as it applies to counties of
            the sixth class.
        Compiler's Note:  Section 2 of Act 329 of 1959 provided that
            Act 64 is repealed insofar as it applies to counties of
            the seventh class.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

        Section 1.  The county auditors in counties of the sixth,
     seventh and eighth classes shall receive ten dollars ($10.00)
     for each day necessarily employed in the discharge of their
     duties, together with six cents per mile circular from and to
     their homes once each and every day so employed.
