WYOMING COUNTY ERECTED
                  Act of Apr. 4, 1842, P.L. 222, No. 79               Cl. 16
                                  AN ACT

     Erecting a New county out of the Northern part of Luzerne
        county, to be called Wyoming.

        Section 4.  Wyoming County
        The citizens of the County of Wyoming who are qualified to
     elect members of the Legislature elect one reputable citizen to
     be prothonotary, and clerk of the court of oyer and terminer and
     of quarter sessions of the peace, one reputable citizen to be
     register of wills and recorder of deeds. 1842, April 4, P.L.
