JOSEPH JAY PETITION OF: BRIAN MCDERMOTT No. 77 WM 2026 ORDER PER CURIAM AND NOW, this 8th day of October, 2026, in consideration of the “Application to Withdraw,” this matter is REMANDED for the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County to determine whether to permit Attorney Brian McDermott to withdraw. In the event Attorney McDermott is allowed to withdraw, the court is to consider related questions, such as whether to appoint new counsel or to permit Joseph Jay to proceed pro se. The Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County is DIRECTED to enter its order on remand within 90 days and to promptly inform this Court of its determination.
