Docket No. 379377

Judges
To the extent defendant seeks delayed leave to appeal the August 4, 2025 order of the trial
court denying his motion for relief from judgment, the delayed application for leave to appeal is
DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction. Defendant did not seek reconsideration of the August 4, 2025 order
within 21 days of the date of entry of that order or within further time allowed by the trial court for good
cause during that 21-day period. As a result, the order denying reconsideration cannot be used to time the
due-date of the application as it pertains to the August 4, 2025 order. MCR 7.205(A)(1)(b); MCR
7.205(A)(4). Because the application was filed more than six months after August 4, 2025, this Court
lacks jurisdiction over this delayed application to the extent it challenges the August 4, 2025 order. MCR
7.205(A)(4).
To the extent defendant seeks delayed leave to appeal the October 1, 2025 order denying
reconsideration, the delayed application is DENIED for lack of merit in the grounds presented.
