Court of Appeals, State of Michigan
ORDER
KADI A KAMENDAT V JACOB T MORSE
Docket No. 380684
LC No. 17-029669-DM
Adrienne N. Young
Presiding Judge
Matthew S. Ackerman
Mariam S. Bazzi
Judges
The motions to waive fees are DENIED because a review of the motions shows the ability
to pay.
Within 21 days of the Clerk’s certification of this order, appellant shall pay to the Clerk of
the Court the requisite fees for the motions that he filed. Failure to comply with this order will result in
dismissal of the motions.
We note that appellant has repeatedly moved to waive filing fees despite denials from this
Court, including a previous fee-waiver denial in this case. We also note that appellant’s self-reported
income exceeds the amount normally used to determine eligibility for a fee waiver. See MCR 2.002(F).
We warn appellant that, should he continue to seek fee waivers without a material change in
circumstances, we may exercise our authority under MCR 7.216(C)(1) to assess costs or to impose other
appropriate sanctions.
